About The Role
A fintech currently disrupting the Artificial Intelligence community with their NextGen problem-solving systems is looking to build out a new team focused entirely on open-source React development. The team will be working on a wide range of projects including building robust applications and comprehensive opensource UI tooling and libraries with end-users within-firm and public end-users. These developers, in particular, have been granted maximum autonomy to leverage the most modern tech stack with a focus on React, Typescript, and GraphQL, with a wide remit for owning their space.
Required Technology:
3+ years React/JavaScript
Exposure to UnitTesting, Git, and Continuous Integration/Delivery
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
Involvement and enthusiasm around Opensource technology and projects
Preferred Experience
A proponent of best practices: agile development, continuous integration, code review, unit testing, and related approaches
Strong hands-on engineering skills with a creative, analytical approach to development
Collaborative method of engineering with strong communication skills
Enthusiastic about delivering value to the business and efforts to streamline processes
